  • Grip and trigger manipulation
  • Sight alignment and picture
  • Recoil and follow through considerations

 

AVAILABLE INTERMEDIATE COURSES

These courses reinforce the basic overview of each weapon system and add an additional level of difficulty to include:


  • Student-led safety and weapons handling demonstration
  • Alternative firing positions
  • Single hand pistol considerations
  • Movement considerations and scenarios to include reloading on the move
  • Mechanical and induced failure remedies, to include primary & secondary transition considerations
  • Cadence firing sequences
  • Close range engagement scenarios
  • Multiple target engagement considerations
  • Target discrimination and low percentage engagement considerations and scenarios



* Must complete the requisite 101 level course before attending 201 level courses 

AVAILBLE TRFDA​AFAFDFDSAFDDAFDSAININGA

These classes consist of a 2 to 2 1/2 hour hands on session conducted at our outdoor range.  These courses iteratively build the skills, knowledge and attitude necessary to safely use your firearm.  Concepts in each subsequent class will be reinforced and confirmed prior to each course beginning, to ensure each student has a sound understanding of the safety considerations inherent in basic, intermediate and advanced weapons use.

  • Accessory fitting
  • Zero and/or pattern confirmation
  • Close range engagement scenarios
  • Multiple target engagement considerations

 

AVAILABLE ADVANCED COURSES

PISTOL 301
SHOTGUN 301


These courses reinforce the basic overview of each weapon system and add an additional level of difficulty to include:


  • Student-led safety and weapons handling demonstration
  • Building, vehicular and barricade considerations
  • Multiple weapon system manipulation in confined/restricted spaces
  • Movement and static considerations and scenarios to include urban prone & loop hole manipulation
  • Mechanical and induced failure remedies, considerations and scenarios (time standard driven)
  • Close range engagement scenarios
  • Multiple target engagement considerations (time standard driven)
  • Target discrimination and low percentage engagement considerations and scenarios (time standard driven)
  • Culmination exercise with artificial stressors (time standard driven)
